I'm not a professional chef, and I probably never will be but you don't need to be to make some damn good food! I've been obsessed about cooking and learning the techniques for years. Over time I've developed a good eye (or taste buds) for what works and what doesn't and I'm really excited to share that with all of you! I mainly make dishes from Asia; I can tell you when I first started alot of the recipes seemed intimidating and the ingredients were mysterious to me. I now want to show people that the recipes are nothing to be afraid of and the ingredients are a lot of fun to source.
Most of the recipes I'll be sharing with you are the recipes people would be making in their homes, not rocket science. So while it might not be your home, this is good wholesome home cooking!
My other great love is storytelling so I also hope to share some great stories with you along the way. From real life events, to myths. I strongly believe food and stories are the things that bring us together when so many other things pull us apart.
